The UDI World Electric Power Plants Database (WEPP) is a global inventory of electric power generating units. It contains design data for plants of all sizes and technologies operated by regulated utilities, private power companies, and industrial autoproducers (captive power).

This unique database is the largest such information resource available and offers:

• Design information for more than 141,000 units at more than 50,000 plant sites in 225+ countries - every country is represented
• Coverage of installed and projected steam and gas turbines, combined-cycle plants, IC engines, hydro units, wind turbines, and renewable energy units

The WEPP Database is shipped in dbf format. The files can be opened directly in Excel or imported into Access or other database management software.
